We are a small, intimate space. We ask that you do not bring an entourage with you to your appointment. This is your time to relax. If you do have a companion, we recommend The Wise Bean Coffee & Espresso Bar across the street, or the many shops and restaurants within walking distance.
Due to the relaxing atmosphere, as well as the size of our salon, we respectfully ask that children only be brought to the salon if receiving a service. Please consider this when scheduling your appointment.
Metered parking is available on N. New St. - coins and credit cards are accepted. Free 2-hour parking is available on North St. We validate parking in both the Walnut St. and North St. garages.
We do our best to accommodate late-comers. However, it is left to the discretion of the stylist if your appointment needs to be rescheduled.
To better accommodate our clients, and keep our schedule on track, first time color appointments may require a credit card. If you do not give proper cancelation notice, you will be charged 50% of the service fee. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. We want to make everyone's experience at Lux a pleasant and fulfilling one.
We require 48-hour notice when canceling an appointment. In the event that we don't receive proper notice, you may be asked for a credit card number to hold your next appointment.
Lux Salon guarantees all of its services. For haircuts, we are happy to do adjustment services within the first week of your original appointment. For color services, we are happy to do adjustments within the first 2 weeks of your original appointment. We will make product recommendations for you during your first visit with us; keep in mind that investing in your at-home hair care is advised to keep your look fresh and your hair healthy. We also guarantee all of our products. If you're unhappy with a product, bring it back within the first 2 weeks of purchase for a full retail store credit.
Prices are based on length, thickness and condition of hair. These factors will always be discussed during the consultation.
Tips may be made by cash or check only. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. There is a $25 charge on all returned checks.
